STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® is one of the world's best-known labels for textiles tested for harmful substances meaning better our garments are better for you, Bub and Mother Nature. It stands for customer confidence and high product safety, with a worldwide consistent, independent testing and certification system. Nearly all Cake Maternity brand products are made from Oeko-tex® 100 certified componentry and we’re consistently working towards ensuring our entire range is as well as those we curate.
This means that all fabrics and accessories are tested for harmful substances so that you can be certain that every component of each garment, i.e. every thread, fabric and other accessory, has been tested for harmful substances and that the garment therefore is harmless for human health. In the test they take into account numerous regulated and non-regulated substances, which may be harmful to human health.
In many cases the limit values for the STANDARD 100 go beyond national and international requirements. The criteria catalog is updated at least once a year and expanded with new scientific knowledge or statutory requirements.
